wow... its been a while deviant ART, its been a LONG time. so long in fact that i have deviations and messages piling up to the point where i cant even fathom the patients to respond to each one with the care and delicacy they deserve.

Its simply not possible, and instead of blowing off each individual one i would like to instead apologize and say, thank you for the great art, and thank you for the great comments (none of which are on my pieces mind you xD). I would like to return and state the brilliance and utter appreciation i have for everybody that has contributed their skill to this community, but i cant.

That said that is not why i choose to write an entry to this journal today, rather i would like to inform any of my watchers and even newfound friends that i am leaving devART. This sure does seem melodramatic but thats not how i mean it. Rather i feel it is a courtesy to anybody who i may have talked to, chatted with, and befriended to inform them that i am going.

But i am not leaving forever. My goal is to pursue a life and career drawing manga and someday taking a role in animation. I look at other artist's work not only to respect their skill and admire their determination but to see where i will be 6, 7, 8, and even 10 years down the line, and for this reason I will keep this account so i can look back on just how far I've come from my start.

Is this melodramatic? probably, but either way I have made a new account under the pen name "ayumu hiyashi" that i will revisit four years to the date (give or take a month xD) and continue my contribution to this fabulous community.
